**boston but w/bloody marry mix**

    Decided it had been to long since my last smoke..about a week and a half..WAY TO LONG!!!!!

    I marinated the butt over night in a spicy bloody mary mix and green diced chiles. then covered it in horseradish mustard. and applied a homemade rub. It's been smokin now for a while and wrapped it at 165* will post pics of the finished product. oh and i am doing a mix of hickory and mesquite. not sure about this mix but will soon find out.

    I look forward to seeing the finale. I've never heard of anyone using bloody mary marinade; is this the first time you used it or have you tried it before? How's the flavor? I bet it comes out damned good - I'll have to try it someday soon on some pork or chicken.

    this is the first time useing the bloody mary mix on a smoke before and also on a butt. will let u know how it comes out. it is resting patiently in the cooler right now.

    wow...this was a awesome smoke...i like the spicy bloody mary mix. it was one of my best butts ever. i would suggest it to try. froze some and through some in a potato soup i did. all the family luved it. definitely a keeper.

    Good idea with the bloody mary mix. In fact, a bloody mary would be nice right now. 07:34 in Malongo right now.

    i bet...but i didn't have any vodka in mine...lol...that was after the fact.
