Anyone else find it funny that she refers to them as "slow cooked" ribs? It only took 2 hours, I can't think of a way to cook them that would be much quicker.

Scrum-Diddly-Umptious ribs...Hmmm......
Sounds more like soup. Don't get me wrong, I love soup but not rib soup.
No offense to those people or anything but damn they don't know the first thing about ribs, and to claim they will be the best ribs you have ever eaten...maybe those folks need to leave their house and try some BBQ and not boil their meat.

it's funny in the end when they're all patting each other on the back, congratulating themselves on what a great job they did. grubbing down with huge smiles b/c they're so darn proud.

boiled ribs, aka meat jello.

Baking ribs in an oven is just about as bad.

Bland, bland, bland.

Those claims of "this is ____ good" were talking about the sauce. An hour over 212 degrees renders all the fat (read flavor).

AND to top it off, as if not enough insult had been rendered to some poor piggy having sacrificed it's life to donate the ribs, she dumps the boiled water down the sink. Hey, all plumbers, future work in progress. My Dad woulda whup me up side the head if I'd even contemplated boiling ribs.

Come on your telling me that no one here has ever boiled them before they learned the right way? Of course i was like 12 when i did it but yes i boiled them before lol

Because that's all they know. The only other ribs they've probably ever eaten were from Applebee's or Chili's or somewhere like that. You put enough Sweet Baby Ray's on just about anything and it's bound to taste good.

Well, most of it got poured down the drain.

Which is why they had to drown them in sauce.
