I have been grilling for many years, just bought a Landmann gas vertical smoker model 3895GWLA. I also have a Weber charcoak grill that I cook on all the time for many years. Fairly new to smoking except for using the Weber grill as a smoker. I live in North Carolina. Here are a couple of pictures of my 1st try at smoking on my smoker last weekend.

They came out pretty good, the wings were awesome. The ribs were really good, the meat just fell off of the bone. Not sure if they are supposed to do that though!

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from an  overcast and warm breezy  day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Thanks Gary!

Any tips on getting the ribs so that they do not come clean off the bone when you bite into them?

Yep, A little less cooking time will solve that problem
