I have a large BGE and a maverick ET 732.My question is will the leads be ok if I close the lid on them.I thought they might be fine since the seal is made out softer material and the lip is wider with no pinch points.

That is what I have done for a long time in my BGE. you can drop it in threw the daisy wheel if it makes you feel safer.

I thought about the daisy wheel, but decided that it wouldn't do any damage through the lip.Thank you for helping me put my fears to rest on the matter.
