Best smoker to use with the AMNPS?

Hi!

Still looking for an electric smoker. I have an AMNPS and will use it with the electric smoker. Since I'm not planning to use the electric smoker itself to generate the smoke, I don't care if the smoke generator is good or bad. So, with that in mind, what do you think would be the best smoker for me? Criteria to consider would be (I guess) ability to keep a steady temp, seal, air flow, element durability, etc. Again, things like chips chute, quality of the built-in smoke generator and the like are not important.

The AMNPS and the 1st generation MES work very well together.

My MES30 Digital Gen 1 does great with the AMNPS.  Been very happy with it.

I let the pellets "dry" while I heat up the unit, then start the pellets w/ a propane torch and let burn for 5 minutes minimum till there is a good "cherry", set it on the lower left rails, and I'm all set.  Sometimes I will pull out the chip loader a bit at first to make sure it's going good,   If the temp is much higher than 225*F, it really pumps out the smoke, probably too much.

AMNPS is a terrific product!

Thanks for your suggestions. Found a MES 30 on Amazon and decided to buy it! Should be here today!
