YA, i did jerky on the smoker yesterday , in the cold,wind and snow. Girls bout got it all ate up, they tell me its good, even if it is goose
 
OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH. I forget that 45* here doesnt' mean 45* everywhere.

Never had goose.............wife doesn't even "goose" me!

I had to post pics for ya DUDE, was gona take a pic of my belly to prove i ate, camera don't have fat a$$ mod on it, but it was tastey, made enuff so i won't starve this week while the girls are gone this week

Us northerners just need to smoke more during spring, summer and fall so we have a freezer full of goodies to eat and make up recipes like beef stew, chili, etc. to keep us inside and warm in the winter !!!
 
Or killen critters to smoke in the off season!!
