I did some beef ribs and wanted to share my Qview with you...

Got 3 slabs last night from the butcher.

Rubbed them up with my home made run consisting of brown sugar, pepper, salt, cumin, all spice, and cayenne.

Into the offset for a few hours with a couple russet potatoes

Made for a mighty fine meal (or two or three)

Thanks for checking it out.

Hey Blue, those are some mighty fine looking beef ribs there, and your bark turned out beautiful. Really nice looking with that smoke ring. I'm with Bassman- you earned points!

Look great Blue! Nice bark and smoke ring. Not sure which I like more, beef or pork ribs-such a toss up but I gotta say i think I lean just slightly more towards the beef side. I'm with these guys, you deserve some points for a great job!
Keep up the good smokes

Awsome looking Qview!

Where did you get them? Being from Warren myself...I am always looking for places to get good meats.

Noticing your avatar.... are you a fellow GSP owner as well?

If so I am willing to bet we must just about represent all of the Warren/GSP Owner/SMF member/smoking demographic???

I got em down at R'J's at the Eastern Market. On Gratiot and Russel there is the Detroit Central Market which hosts a number of smaller meat markets. I also do a lot of shoping at the Resturant Depot in Troy.

IThe avatar...ts a blue tick coon hound...so you still represent the Warren/GSP Owner/SMF member/smoking demographic on your own.

Really nice smoke Blue. I'm throwing some points your way, as I haven't had dinner yet, and that really made me hungry.

Keep up the great work!
