Howdy Chew. I use a fairly traditional Wisconsin type recipe. Thanks! b
Nice looking brats. Being raised in WI I grew up on brats. Wonder how much different a southern recipe is from a Sheboygan recipe.
Ha! Thanks Disco. b
Now I know why Mrs BD call's you a brat!
Nice looking sausage, Sir.
Disco

Wish I could, we have a graduation this weekend, Grandson requested my brisket, ribs and beans so I've got some smoking to do
Gary

My old office was 4 blocks away brother!
Hey Brian, I have been meaning to ask you if you ever grab a little Q at the old Sonny Bryan's on Inwood ?
Gary
The use to make their own hot links. Oh man....
I remember before he passed away, he was always smiling, whistling and cutting meat. he always seemed happy.

Living on the West side of the Trinity River we seem to frequent Angelos more than Sonnys
Yep, After Sonny died and the kids took over, it's still good but not the same. They expanded to several locations. Sonny told me he was happy right there, he had more business than the he handle most of the time. When he ran out he put up a sign saying out of whatever . I miss those old days
Gary
No argument here Goldie. Got pics?
Damn, smoked a chicken tonite old school. Dried with a paper towel, a little salt, 1/2 a charge of pecan shells, and that was it. Damn, I just don't care what ya do to modify a chicken you just can't beat simple. Less smoke was definately more.
