Bacon Chili-Cheese Burger Fattie

    So its time to start the push for selling Brats or grilling sausages at work. Here is what was left of  a batch of Beef Bacon Cheeseburger Brats....the left over that doesnt get pushed out of the stuffer. I spread it out in a tray covered with some wrapping film. Nice and even.


     

    Then I decided to really push the envelope... Does anyone remember the Frankenstuff Hotdogs?  I think they were made by hormel at one time...that was my inspiration for this. Here is a 13 oz chub of chili topping...mmmmmgood stuff...much better than that stuff from a can.

     

    Oh man this is gonna be good!

     

    All wrapped up and awaiting a sunday smoke...And if you are watching Craig( my brother ) stop over for a taste sunday eve.

    Since I was smoking the fattie I filled up the smoker with 2 st Louis style ribs and some pizza brats and baconcheese burger brats. Here is the brats we had for supper
     






    Stay tuned... the fatties were at 120*

    Sounds really interesting.  Never heard of that chili topping.  Those brats look delicious, as well.  [​IMG]

    Here They Are!!! DAH DA DAAAHHH!!

    Almost what you have all been waitin for!
    These took way longer than usual, but with the size , it makes sense.

    Sorry about the blurry pics....Mrs Sob wouldn't leave me alone since she just got back in town[​IMG]


    The fattie on the left is the chili sauce filled one. Next to it is a non stuffed bratwurst fattie ...great for bagel breakfast sammies!

    Here's the slabs of ribs...with a little asian seasoning and some garlic granules sprinkled on them.

    Whoa!! I almost forgot the 2 smaller old school fatties on the top is the pizza brat fattie and below is the mexican chorizo fattie. Just some extras![​IMG]

    Its to late and i already ate! I hope you all can forgive me?! I plan on reheating this tomarrow for dinner so I will get some pics then.

    Hey Joe!

    Yeah making sausages is one of the best parts of my job. I like coming up with new mixes.  I am wanting to come up with a super garlicky beef n mushroom sausage but just don't have the time right now.  I have to fire up the hollymatic pattie machine and make our gourmet grillin burgers like Bacon mushroom swiss...Jalapeno cheddar...Pizza burger...and Garbage burgers to name a few.
