I have some baby backs on right now but am worried about the membrane. I usually remove the membrane but this time it was almost like there wasn't one on there.

Is there that big of difference? Any tips to compensate for this?

I wouldn't worry about it. Some people like the membrane left on the BBs and the Spares. This will give you something to compare to. Sometimes the membrane is so soft and tender it's really hard to get off and if that's the case, your not going to notice it when you eat it either.

The first couple of times I did ribs, I didn't even know about the membrane. Now I always remove it. But truthfully, I don't notice any differance. So don't sweat it.
