I can't speak for long term reliability - I only got these two last month. But they do the job well. Two sausage sessions:10lbs and over 30lbs. No issues.

What needs oiling on these after use? I oiled just the blade/plates for the grinder.

AS, I spray(food grade silicone) on the threads of the auger body and ring also

I lube the end of the auger and thrust plate with FG grease... and the plate and cutter...

It started making a louder noise than normal.... I took the cover off and lubed the gears etc. inside with FG grease.... really quieted down...

I have the same grinder and have been happy with it although I notice a burning smell about halfway through most grinds, which then tends to dissipate after a while. It's also loud as hell; maybe it needs the same lube ala Dave. It's not that old.. Got three or four hundred pounds through it over the last couple years.
  9. Those are the two items I got for Christmas. Cant wait to put 'em to use.

Also note that there are usually $10 off $50 and $20 off $100 order coupons available for (currently 202912 and 202911 respectively). A simple google/bing search will find them.

I've got that grinder and have had no problems but I am going to take the cover off and try to grease it as a preventative measure.

I bought the Kitchener 15 lb stuffer and it has all metal gears.  They have since discontinued my model which is a shame because it is a great stuffer and I got mine at a good price.

I originally bought a LEM and had problems with  the threads on it.  I returned it and was not pleased at all with their customer service.  Even though the newer Kitchener models that I've seen have nylon gears, I'd still buy it over the LEM, just because of the problems I had with customer service.
