Hello everybody, I'm archernut, live in West Central Illinois, have been smoking and grilling for years.
My smoker/s have all been homemade from old freezers/refrigerators, exceprt the first one was a Christmas present and it was a little Brinkman that had a metal bowl for charcoal under it.

Welcome to SMF, Archernut. I'm sure that a number of folks that are wanting to do a fridge/freezer smoker conversion would like to see your toy and then get feedback from you on ideas for their builds.

Looking forward to your posting.

Enjoy!

Glad to see you've made it to the best smoking site on Mother Earth, SMF that is.

Welcome, good to have you with us. Lots of great folks here and always welcome more to the family. I too am doing a fridge conversion right now, an old enamel interior 1950's one. Post some pics of yours if you have any, would love to see it.
