I was looking at smokers at Bass Pro the other day and came across this model.  It seems well built and the design is pretty nice.  I went to the Masterbuilt website and it was nowhere to be found, so I called them and the representative said it's only available through certain retailers.  She sent me the manual via email and it didn't help very much. I haven't been able to find much info on this particular smoker.  So......

I'm hoping to get some feedback from those who have this smoker.  Do you like it?  What d you like least about it? Any problems with the smoker and, if so, was it easy to get those problems taken care of?  Something I noticed about the smoker that seemed a little odd was the wood chip pan.  It looks nothing like the pans in other propane smokers.  How do you use the pan and do you like it?  Are you happy with the finished food products?

Any other info you can share and any pictures would be greatly appreciated!

(oops, meant to post under propane smokers - how do I repost in another forum?)

I have one I converted into a natural gas smoker. It used up a lot of propane before I did the swap. Worked fine for me but I moved into using the 40 inch MES. I had trouble keeping the wood chips from catching on fire and ended up equipping it with a smoke daddy. That setup worked excellent. I've been spoiled by the convenience of the MES and when I have the time to smoke... I use the Oklahoma Joe. I'm going to sell the MB gas. Just don't use it anymore.
