I'm in the process of making my first fatties now.

One is at 158, so it shoudn't be too much longer.

One is a Chili-Cheese-Dog (dog, cheddar, onion, chili seasoning, mustard). The other is Buffalo Chicken (smoked chicken, blue cheese, onion, garlic, buffalo sauce).

The meat wrap is 2/3 beef and 1/3 sausage.

I gotta be honest, with the bacon wrap, this is a heck of a lot of meat! It's looks like it will be a pretty heavy meal, although today will be my first time trying one.

How about slicing up the fatties, and serving them on a hamburger bun? It might lighten up the meal a little bit.

Thoughts? I'll try both ways. I'll be sure to report back.

I've sliced fatties and lightly grilled the slices for breakfast - came out great.  Putting it on a bun is the next logical step - but I would make sure it is warmed up before putting it on the bun.

Go for it!

I used turkey bacon, thinking leaner.  But in all honesty, I wouldn't do this again.  It was OK, but the Turkey Bacon already has this artificial smokey flavor, and it just doesn't taste good period.  I pretty much peeled off the turkey bacon before eating.  Otherwise, pretty decent.

We were out of buns, so I used Texas Toast for an open faced sandwich....

I did like having this as a sandwich.  The Chili Dog Fatty was pretty melty with cheese, which was sopped up with the bread.

That looks good! Turkey Bacon...The Condom of the meat world!...Get's the job done but it ain't much Fun...

I love having mine on burger buns. That is a big reason i try to spread all my toppings throughout the fatty instead of just rolling them in the middle. If u just roll everything in the middle you wont get some of the toppings in your bites. Just my two cents....
