I go by Riley or Scott. Live in Beaumont CA. I've always loved BBQing I bought my first smoker last year so you can call me a newbie/learner. Not knowing too much about smoking I bought myself a Brinkmann Smoke n Pit smoker. I have done about 5 pork shoulders and 3 turkey's. I started off and stayed with Jeff's Secert Naked Rub and Sauce. Everyone loves the pulled pork sandwiches and turkeys I have done, They keep asking for more. Been poking around this forum for about a 6 months and decided to join. Saturday will be making some mods to the smoker which I found in these forums and Sunday making pulled pork before the big game.

Welcome, and good luck on your future smokes. Sounds like you have done some good smokes. Give us some Qview.

Hello Scott, and welcome to the SMF. Glad to know you've enjoyed reading the forums here as there is a lot of useful information available to you. I pass through your area on my way to Palm Springs, nice arrea. Here's hoping it dries up enough for your smoke.

Welcome to the forums, Scott! It's good to have ya here. Back in the late eighties, I lived just down the road from you in Hemet for a couple of years. You found a great site. Lots of good people here who love sharing their ideas and expertise. Good luck and happy smokin'!
