Hello all!
Been a lurker for a bit, and get the newsletter, but now I need some guidance so it's time to step out of the dark!
Been using all of your suggestions for some time, and have had alot of success with them on my brinkmann electric bullet. (It was my first appliance!). Now I'm in a place were I've literally worn it out. It's nearly rusted out on the bottom and starting to fall apart. So, combine the need for a new smoker, the money I've made on the one I have, and a little "Economic Stimulus" and it's time to shop!
I'm looking for a nice smoker that'll do several racks of ribs, pork shoulders, etc at once. I'm used to electric, but willing to learn alternative heat sources. Mass production is okay, and so is homebuilt (as long as it isn't IBuilt- I'm not handy...) Also, I expect to feel pain around $300 or so.
So all you pitmasters, any suggestions?
-Michael
