I filled my new AMZN pellet smoker with pecan and apple and turned it loose on a pork shoulder. It burned through all the pellets in about 7 hours of a 13 hour smoke. Do I refill it? Do I put more pellets in but not fill it? Will it be too much smoke if I fill it?

You could fill it part way. You could fill it and just put out what doesn't get used. You could not do any of the above and finish without more smoke.

7 hours of smoke is plenty, for me, on most meats.... usually less.....   Try the meat and see how you like it....  Adjust on the next go-round...

Bacon is a different story...  I have smoked bacon for 36 hours....

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to continue without more smoke. 7+ hours should be enough. I'll be posting a thread with q view when this is all over
