A little wind today

So I thought I'd do a couple of butts. Hopefully, everything will hold off until I have them done. Also have a brisket in the fridge for in the morning. Had a can of chicken broth, so I injected the brisket with that (one of those ""what the heck" moments), and rubbed it down in Harley's. The butts are done in my rub. Cooking on my drum. If I wake up in the morning, and the drum is gone, I'll know the winds from Ike got here sooner than expected. Tropical storm winds predicted for NE Texas, but maybe I have time!

Good luck with your smoke Jack. I use to use Harleys on everything. Haven't seen it around here for about 5 yrs now. Wrote the company in Tx and they sent me a bottle. It was good stuff!

Got the smaller butt wrapped and in the cooler. The second is almost there. The brisket has joined the party. A couple of fatties to add, and I'm on my way.......
