So today I did a lot of things for the first time.

First Ill start from the beginning. I'm  Andrew and I live in north east North Carolina. I have smoked some meats a little bit before on a cheap char-broil side by side. Maintaining temps in that thing were a night mare and it kept me from really enjoying the smoke. Last week I decided to go to bass pro and buy a propane smoker. So soon after I got it I cured it and smoked a few racks of baby backs and a chicken for my dad and brother. Man food. Being away from home I had to use a rub from bass pro and it ended up being a little on the salty side. That just meant  it took a few more beers to wash it down.  They turned out great and everyone loved them.

So fast forward to today. I had an itch to make a fatty, some ABTs and some turkey legs. All of those Ive never done before.

The fatty I made was a Greek  fattie. I stuffed ground beef with spinach, feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes, Greek  olives, and a little olive oil. Wrapped in a bacon weave of coarse. It turned out pretty good but the ground beef needed something, it had not taste.

Here's the fatty

The ABTs were stuffed with garden vegetable cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. I bought a pound which turned into about 28 canoes. I couldn't eat all of them so I brought the rest to work for the guys and they LOVED them. Everyone wanted more, they went quick. Ill make some more for them soon.

Here's the ABTs I couldn't stop eating them right off the smoker

The turkey legs were on sale at wally world so I gave them a try. Gave them a simple rub and threw them on the smoker. They came out great as well. Im really liking this new smoker!

Here are the legs.

Yeah I noticed that. Anyone know why I can upload from photobucket?

When you add the image link from photobucket, make sure to only use the link itself, not the IMG tags.  The website will place those itself..

Welcome aboard neighbor!  When we have first at work it's always a case of beer, so in this case, we'd have a lot of drinking to do!

Lol when we owe beer at work its when we break something and cause more work. Im ok with the lots of drinking part though.

Thanks, I just got the GOSM 2 drawer. On clearance.

I can not firgure out the pictures. This forum uses different code then any other forum im a part of. Very different.

You can upload pictures without worrying with code.

On the toolbar in the message box, select "Insert Image" icon;

The you select "Choose File" (can be from your hard drive or camera card plug into a USB or port etc) Once you've selected the File location, click submit (since I snagged the below image it has changed from Ok to Submit);

Now if you don't figure that out, it's a case!!!! LOL  The GOSM is a great smoker...I ordered my GOSM through BPS, but they don't carry the Big Block in that brand and I was just curious what brand BPS's currently stocking that their advertising as a wide body propane smoker.

LOL thanks for the basics but Id rather upload the pics from photobucket like I do on EVERY other forum im on. Ive tried every link photobucket has, I followed the wiki, I tried everything I know. I just bought a case today, Ill start drinking now and when you get here you can have whats left. Theyre going quick...

if from photobucket,, go to the IMG URL tab (you can see it in the photo above to the right of the pointed out "Browse Computer" tab).  Inside that tab is the place to paste your photobucket img source link.  I don't think you can type the link directly.  Try that and see if it works...

Later,

B.
