Great looking ribs Joe.

Ain't it amazing how wive's seem to get their way no matter what part of the country you live in.

Rodger,

There has been studies on this very subject "Wives getting thier own way" They have tried to isolate this very illusive gene but as to date they have been unsuccesful in doing so. Until they do so we'll just have to live with it. Oh and no luck on the "shopping gene" either.

Nice Racks eh, I smoked them for 3.5 hours at 225 and used Cowboy charcoal and white oak. Now here is the recipe for the sauce, I'm going to post it in the sauce forum also. You may have to reduce it.. Depending on my mood I have some smoked habinero's I grind up and add them as well.

Memphis Rib Sauce
I can of tomato paste
2 cups ketchup
2 cups cider vinegar
2 cups brown sugar
1 cups soy sauce
1 cups dry sherry
1Tsp of allspice
4 large onions chopped small
¼ cup ginger <I grate fresh ginger> I usually freeze it first
1/8 cup crushed red pepper <to taste>
12 crushed cloves of garlic

Makes 1 gallon + 1 pint

Nice ribs, Joe! And thanks for the recipe!

Now, about those get their way and shopping genes; a recent study has proven that they are predator genes! Yup! You heard it here first! Predator genes! They prey on mens' Love'em gene! No cure, no hope! So I guess we all just have to form a support group and just try to understand.

Cheers!
