ok in 3 weeks I got it set up on in the yard and did around 100 lb of home grown pork..now I need to set it on a trailor.
 
oh she did great,,i got 2 pick up loads of wood thinking I would need a lot for a 15 hr. cook, but she didn't burn over 15 sticks of it . I ran it up to 500 f. to season it then backed it down to 250f. for the cook .. my cooking grate temp was 235f and foot above that were my dial thermometer are was 265 next to the fire box and 250f on the other end ..almost no learning curve..I know {or I think} if I close down the opening at the end of my bp I can rise the grate temp but I'm ok with her ..she looks rough but every ones is amazed I build it myself..i learned so much from u guys ,I wish I knew how to post pics on here ..thank you all who share on this site ..
