The Ron Man has left us

Been away for a while and this is definitely sad news to come back to.  Ron was always giving me tips with my MES and really helped me get started with smoking.  I use the knowledge he gave me every time I smoke.  RIP Ron...Thanks for everything you did for me and the forum.

HOLY CRAP! I'm in a cult now!

The last time I bought my Weber grill I had to wait almost 2 months extra before I finally got it.  I am starting to see a pattern here.

New MES owner, preparing for the 1st smoke

I have done quite a few butts on my MES.  I have tried a lot of methods and this is what works best for me: Using a pan makes the job a lot cleaner and easier, but you don't get a good bark on the bottom of the butt.  I never spritz anything done in the MES.  In my experience everything stays...

The rack below has always worked for me. I think I got it at Ace hardware or Home Depot so it should be easy to find. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...C9SH0E53QFYP30

Can anyone verify if Masterbuilt definitely has a new Manufacturer?

As some of you from the chatroom already know my MES went out on me while trying to preheat Friday night. I emailed them over the weekend and I had a response from Jennifer this morning. She asked that I call with model and serial number information. I spoke with her about the issue, which...

That's quite a menu for this weekend. I wish I was eating at your place! I am starting 2 butts tonight for a cookout tomorrow. I am also making slaw and bbq sauce to go with it. Not sure what I am going to do for the sauce yet, but I always whip something up.
