This is a spectacular tool!! I never thought of doing anything like this. I've got all kinds of stuff in my freezer that I'm not real sure about, this will greatly reduce meat loss. Thanks for being so innovative!
I've eaten at several places in KC and can't say I've ever had bad BBQ anywhere. However my personal favorite would be Jacks Stack. Their burnt ends are great! I have to add though that's it's been years since I've been down there but they were always worth the trip before.
I've never tried it with BBQ sauce, but heat up pork and beans on the smoker while I'm making rib's. Leave the lid off and stir them once in a while. It does add a lot of flavor to them. Couldn't hurt to try with sauce.
