Prime Rib (Away Game)

A Prime Rib I didn't have to make!!!

We had our first big meal in my Son's new kitchen.
I designed it for him, and ordered it from an old Buddy of mine.
This was right after my Son finished installing it.

The Prime Rib he made was excellent, but not smoked, because of some of the guests.

I got lot's more pics of the kitchen, but I won't swamp the forum with them.

And Yes, most of my house would fit in my Son's Kitchen.

After (Guess who got to take the leftovers home???):

Notice the Cat has his headlights on!

I can't tell which one it is. There are twins named Cheech & Chong!!

Thanks Willie!!

Yeah, he's done well. A couple years after he graduated from High School (22 years ago), he worked for a tower company for 17 months. Sprint used to tell his boss to either send John & his crew or don't send anyone. They continued to send other crews. Then a Sprint Boss told him, I didn't say this, but if you were to start your own tower business, you would always have work. We took out a $15,000 loan to loan to him, to start his own Tower Company. Now he has 6 trucks, 11 employees, a 6,000 sq ft shop & warehouse, etc, etc, and he paid us back the first year. LOL----He even bought me a new 2008 Dodge Ram for my 60th Birthday----Said he needed the deduction.  You can probably tell we are very proud of him.

Bear, the PR and the kitchen are amazing!

The story about you son's success just tugs at my heart...being another proud papa myself.  IMHO, its always good when our children do better than we did.  I believe it says a lot about how they were raised.

Man, what a nice Crib. I'd be like Squib, never leave the Kitchen.

The PR , looked marvelous and you can send any leftovers to me...

Thanks Stan!!!

Yup---He did a good job on the PR & installing the kitchen-----Too bad he wasn't allowed to smoke the PR!!

Very nice! Those Cherry cabinets are top shelf.
Thanks Todd !!

Yup, a bit more money, but Natural Cherry is Beautiful (especially after a few years).

When I had my Cabinet Shop, about 90% of my cabinets were Red Oak, and 80 % of those were Natural Red Oak.

Thanks Red !!!

He's a good kid. He & his wife left at 5 AM this morning to Shohola Lake. I imagine some fillets will find their way to my house later.

Prime Rib looks great! Now that kitchen, I could do some cooking there. My kitchen will fit in his refrigerator! It's simply beautiful!
Thanks Alesia !!!!

Yeah, biggest kitchen I ever designed. It even had some things I never saw before, like the Microwave in the drawer.

I wonder why nobody notices the Kitty with the headlights on???

Thank You Black !!!

You're right---A couple hanging Hams would finish it off, but it's hard to get that by the wives!!!
