First off, let me say I used my AMNPS to do a brisket for the first time and must confess;  It performed flawlessly.  The burn was exactly as advertised and the flavor of the brisket with the apple pellets, was amazing.

However, after seeing so many people blowing smoke, (pun intended), up Todd, I feel the need to point out some obvious manufacturing errors that should get some immediate attention.

1.  For the price I paid, I feel there should be some sort of automatic pellet loading device included, so I don't have to stick my hands in the bag and spill pellets all over while loading.  And, by the way, by the time I got to the 3rd row, I was spent.

2..There should be included, some sort of alarm, (heat sensitive remote), to let me know that the pellets have all burnt.

3.  And last but not least, there should be an "app for that", letting me know this, no matter where in the world I may be.

In all seriousness Todd, if you read this, I'm green with envy that I didn't invent this great little item that accomplishes so much in time saving simplicity.  BRAVO TO YOU!

Now for today, we'll be chomping on some Bare Butt this evening.

No doubt about, Fred...Todd's gadgets are the Bomb!

Yes, they are.   Just got an 18" AMNTS and used it for the first 12 cold smoke session on my bacon.  The first load of pellets burned for right at 6 hours.  While there was still about 1/2 inch of pellets in the tube, and some nice smoldering coals, I stood the tube up and reloaded with more pellets.   The coals lit the new pellets burning back towards the open end, giving me an additional 6 hour burn without having to mess with relighting.  I went ahead and ordered an 12" tube today for more flexibility.

1- ever hear of lifting the bag up and pouring the pellets in.  Place your A-Maze smoker AMNPS in a bigger, shallow pan, to catch any overflow and the stuff you push off when leveling the pellets out, then remove the AMNPS, and dump the contents of the pan back into the bag of pellets.

2 - Use a timer, KISS

3 - Electonics in the smoker?

What are you smoking. ( and I do not mean in the meat smoker)  Besides that, refer to # 2 here, your smartphone probably has a timer.
