And I put a ring on it that'd make Beyonce leave JayZ!

After almost a three week hiatus I smoked a 16lb deboned butt. After a couple of debates about twining it up to look like a butt or splaying it out in all it's porky goodness, I have decided that we like it splayed out like a fat girl on a porch swing. I've been told (warned) about it drying out, smoking unevenly (it does a bit, but I adjust as needed) - but I'm here to tell ya, you can't beat the overall smoke throughout the meat and lots of good bark. And here are the qviews to support my decision!!

Looks really good! I have to admit I've never smoked a boneless butt before, unless you count the BBB I've made. May have to give one a try.

It's a bit difficult to find boned butts here, I got these from Costco. The cuts at Walmart are too small and don't look that great... Lol, who wants a bony butt any way!

OMG! I almost forgot!! I used PEACH WOOD!!! I'm lucky enough to have a Bass Pro Shop a few miles away that keeps me stocked in big bags of most common woods, sauces, rubs and supplies but today they had peach and orange wood chunks!!! I was totally verklempt!!! (For u guys, that's what happens to your girl, when she's so freakin emotional, whether happy or sad, that she can't speak, but just stares at you with that strange look on her face and her eyes well up tears while she waves her hand at her face to prevent them from spilling over!)

I'm in trouble now.......... I guess old age and a few cocktails while enjoying granddaughters 18th birthday had twisted this old mans thoughts... I don't apologize for mixing up women's names..... that would be suicide..... and really st*%*d.... I'll take my whippin' like an old dog.....
