My wife wants to keep using my fridge for other things and I want to get ta dry curing.

So i bought this today for cheap.

Works like a charm. Blew the coils, compressor, fans out, inside, racks, glass all clean and sanitized.

I had to lay it flat in my jeep so its going to stay un plugged all weekend. When i picked it up from the lady she had it running at 38*

Has 2 flip switches for light and fan, 7 position dial for temp control from 32-42* Going to have my wife make a black felt cover for the front glass which is double pane.

How cheap you say. Well she started last month at $600 and came down to $300, when i flashed 5 new crisp $20 Bills at her she said lets load it up.....HA

Monday the fun begins again.

Better fetch up my supplies and equipment.

The one I am getting is a good bit older but the same kinda cabinet...

Great buy!!

Cool Rick, I've bee eying up some similar units. now if i could get a deal like yours, dang

Great Score Rick!!

I found a cooler just like yours while cleaning out a house for a customer.

Got it home, and plugged it in.....Man It Worked!

Ended up giving it to my neighbor kid for a "Beer Fridge" at college

It finally crapped out, and was not worth fixing

Ross (RBranstner) has it now and is converting it to a smoker

What you gonna do with your new toy?

A dedicated dry curing box?

Great deal there, Rick. That'll make a nice curing/fermenting chamber. Been thinkin' about buildin' one myself, if I can ever get to it. I've been considering an old fridge, but now ya got me thinkin' about a soft drink cooler, if I can find one cheap. Hope, I can find one with cool lizards on it like yours. LOL

How awesome!  I'm looking for a decent priced one to use as a curing chamber.  You got it at one heck of a price!!  Good for you!!!!
