Made a couple snacks as i did my chores and enjoyed a saturday

A buddy got this rub for me so i gave it a try on the chicken   it was spicy and good flavor

About the last hour i coated with two thick layers of Apricot jelly for a nice glaze

Man that chicken looks just great..you will never find a better seasoning than Slap ya mama...It is GREAT !!!!

That prehistoric grill you got there is one versatile monster..........I got one, just like it, as a family heirloom hand-me-down....I bought rebuild parts twice thru after market suppliers... and used and abused it.. Finally I decided it would not cook hot enough for a black and blue steak and used the plasma to cut a hole in the bottom of one chamber. installed a 50,000 btu burner and lava rock above....that was after it's previous 30 year life.......reborn into the best steak cooker yet.

I am looking at your grill and wondering what is instore in its future..........well built products keep finding an after life in strange ways........

Dave, your right its a good grill,  i just rebuild it when it needs it,  right side is new    left side is in use
