Breakfast Burritos on the Campfire

.I made some breakfast burritos while camping last week...

Browned some sausage and fried potatoes with onions and garlic...

scooted the fried potatoes over and scrambled a few eggs...

mixed the tatoes and eggs, then seasoned them..

heated some tortillas...

topped with cheese and salsa before rolling...

They were kinda tasty!

Thanks Scarbelly! This was a lake I camped at for a week... I stayed on the river below the dam.

Rob, I found the fish pics....

Some of the fish....

Everyone was full by the time the catfish and tatoes were finished cooking.. lol

They were pretty tasty hot off the fire.

Jeanie, that does not look like a KOA! Those breakfast burritos remind me of the good lo' days when my mom made breakfast. Glad to know you enjoyed a nice week away from the every day routine. Boots on!

Thanks! It was a lot of fun! There were 5 of us camping for the week.. we spent a lot of time fishing, eating and laughing around the campfire at night.

nice lookin breakfast rittos!!!! nice lookin buncha cats too. thks for sharing your camping pics, looks like a nice place to spend a day or two, specially when you catching(and eating) fish like that!!! out of curiousty the pic of the river the poles going across... is that to stop boat traffic or hazard area???

I have a firend who likes to cut fire wood and is good at it. I really like the trips when he comes along too.

Thanks E! I had a good time. :) The "poles" you are seeing is a bridge.. a road crosses the river there.

One thing though:

I knew you were busy cooking, so I watched your fishing rod awhile for you in picture one. I dropped down to picture two, to see what you were cooking. Then I went to picture three-----Uh Oh, I'm sorry, a big one must have took your pole with him, when I wasn't watching----I'm Sorry!!!!
