The pork industry is changing their slogan for pork. Just thought I'd pass this little tid-bit of info along.

Apparently they didnt consult anyone who BBQs!

Its my favorite fatty meat to serve to guests!

I just contacted NPPC FaceBook. This is what I sent:

I recently submitted an article that I read on MSNBC concerning the change of the slogan for pork to a smokingmeat (www.smokingmeatforums.com) forum that I belong to. They have shown interest in getting involved with this action. You will find on this site that probably ninety percent of the meat being smoked or grilled is pork.
Who is it that we need to contact to be involved?

See what happens...

We need to come up with something that shouts healthy!

Until then here's one to laugh about.

Mooo-ve over beef, we're taking over.

It's really hard to change the image of a pig!

All right, picture this. A couple of cows carrying signs that say "Eat Mor Pork".

How about "There's nothing I like more than pork on my egg".
