I love the rain but my smoker is a small offset smoker that needs to be baby sat to keep temps in check. I am not going to play in the rain and i wont do a 10 or more hour smoke in the garage. Plus rain goes right down the stack on the meat and the smoker is to  small move the meat away from under the stack because then its right on top of the heat source.

I'm with you.

I don't like smoking in the rain either.

Hope it clears up for you on Sunday.

It looks like you have a good start!

Maybe keeping the rub on the meat a couple of days will make it the best ever!

I agree with Al.

My Smoker is under roof, because I don't like my smoker being in the rain or snow.

If you live in Oregon (Dirtsailor), you have to smoke when it rains, or you can only smoke 3 days per year.

I think we get more rain than they do, but it doesn't rain as often here.

Hopefully it will be Beautiful in Vermont tomorrow!!!

Bear,
What model was the 69?
How many of those do you wish you still had?
The 69 was a Coronet 500 (318).

Probably the one I'd like most to have yet would be the 67 Coronet 440, Turbine Bronze Metallic, with black vinyl top. (Beautiful)

Sold it when I went to Vietnam.
