Just to FYI:

i saw Kingsford Blue Bag 15.4 lbs for $5 sale at Walmart this morning. I don't know if a local or regional thing but i would look at see if similar markdowns are in your area if you use Kingsford briquettes. Just thought others would want to know. Its about the season to stock up for the summer smokes and grilling!

Thanx for the heads up!!!

I just did a mini stock at the last Home Depot sale a couple of weeks ago, 2-18.6lb bags for $9.95. Enough to get me through to the (expected

 ) Memorial Day sales.

I  was in Walmart this morning. Didn't see any. Maybe it's just in certain areas or maybe it's already sold out here.

Mrs. Red was in our Walmart day before yesterday, and she picked up 3 bags of these.  KBB is not really my favorite, but that's a hard price to beat!

well yesterday i got enough charcoal to last me the summer and i also found royal oak lump for 9.94 a 17.6 lb bag too! not quite as cheap as KBB but the flavor is better if you like lump. since im just using kbb as a starter fuel i will go cheap but if im using my Bullet WSM im using royal oak. If im grilling my wife likes the flavor of KBB on burgers and dogs so we will go with she would will not be disobeyed,

In short charcoal is cheap right now if you can stock up!

Hey Aaron...That's a good price on the RO lump too!  Was that also at Walmart?  I'd bite the bullet and make a trip in there myself (shudder) if I could buy RO that cheap...

yes this was at walmart next to the kingsford right when you walk in the door.(at least at my store)
