I bought some pre-cooked turkey hindquarters the other day because they were only.58 per pound. The store said just heat them like a potroast in some chicken stock. But I was thinking about hitting them with a rub and trying to heat them up in the smoker. As cheap as they were I figured I could afford to experiment. These aren't processed meat, just appear to be roasted then vacuum sealed. Bone in and skin on.
Anyone try anything like this? Suggestions on time/temp?
