It was a chilly gray Saturday for the first of 2016... Thought I'd warm things up by building a fire in the stick burner.

2 racks on sale for 15 bucks!  What a deal... And it will give me something to do today!

Rub was Hot sauce Salt and  lots of Black Pepper.

Yes... LSU beat the snot out of em in the Texas Bowl... But I'll be a fan forever!

I'm smoking these with the 3-2-1 method. With a little spritz of apple juice.

Out of the foil and back on the grate.  AND more spritzing!!!

A bit ol' tray of bones.

Tender and juicy! Hold the sauce,

Those look really good, Brian. I can't get beef ribs here like that. My butcher just gives me a strange look. I had him order some beef ribs last summer and I got a roast with a bone through it. Looks like you need to teach me how to buy beef ribs. Thumbs Up

Sure wish I still had my welder I would build me a stick burner, it's an experience in smoking I have never had. I have a cousin in Tennessee that has one with revolveing shelfs. He owns a company and uses it for employe parties. Those ribs look great, beef back ribs are my favorite. Around here I can only find bones with scraps of meat on them for $4.00 a pound.
Randy,

Great looking ribs my friend, when I lived in Carson City, we had great ribs out there and then they transferred me to Alabama and all you get here is bones @ 4.00 @ #. I got a choice rib roast in Dec and had the bones cut with some meat on them and they were great.

Enjoy and happy smoking and Happy New Year.
