Has anybody ordered from meatprocessingproducts.com?  Have you had any issues?

Where else do you order casings from?  I have been buying form LEMProducts.com but they cost an arm and a leg.

Waltonsinc, butcher and packer, Syracuse casing company.

I have used the first 2 companies and I know several that have used Syracuse Casing and they were happy

Columbia Spice is another one I use

Phil the tubed from Waltons is all in use now. Good quality casings.

I use Syracuse Casings for both sheep and hog casings.  Their tubed casings are consistent in size, good lengths and easy to work with.

My experience with LEM casings has been miserable.  Widely varying diameters, short lengths etc.

I've ordered from meatprocessingproducts.com before but couldn't tell you what it was off the top of my head.  Maybe that's a good thing because I'd be more likely to remember poor service or quality.

Good luck

We have a butcher shop/grocery store here in our town, I think most fair sized cities have this type of shop and I can buy casings there.  They come in clear plastic case, the size of a sour cream case, salted and ready to use.   I have, at this time no idea of the price.

But if I sit and think here, I could start one good business, with the trouble some folks have getting casings, because where I live, I can get most any kind of casing, quite easily

X2 on checking the local butcher shop.

I have one near me that will sell a single tubed casing if I want it.  The ones he stocks handle about 7 pounds of meat per tube.  He goes through them so fast I know they are fresh and I don't have to worry about how long they have been in my fridge as I can buy them the day I want to stuff.  Well worth a couple of phone calls after a google search to find your local butchers.  I bet one will sell small quantities and probably has tubed casings.  Plus you know it is quality stuff as they make a living selling sausage stuffed with the same casings.
