$1.25 Butts and $2.45 Briskets

Picked up both at Gordon Food Service in Utica today. Briskets are full packers and butts are two packs. Then I gassed up at sams club for $1.77/gallon. GREAT DAY!

Nice score! The one by me in GR carries Tri tip the price has gone up lately,I almost bought a brisky some were still marked $3.45 but the others $2 and change all choice grade.

I always viewed them as a warehouse for food related things and a restaurant supply place.  In Michigan if you order soup or a desert I always figured it came from Gordon's.  We get their christmas cookes every year already cutout into Christmas shapes.

Ah there is a distribution center within driving distance from me, but I assume they dont sell to the public there?

Just got back from Costco. Still $6.99 / lb for brisket. WTF??

I went with a friend to Costco two weeks ago and a brisket was $2.99. I don't have a membership, but that is the price range I am looking for.

Mummel, Was that price for Prime grade? My local costco carries prime grade and the price is pretty reasonable for that.
