I lit both ends and my mailbox was pillowing... no fires. But it almost seemed like the coals were being choked... So i scrapped that and started over because i want TBS. Seems ok now, i only lit one end this time in the mailbox.Looks good

The AMNPS is filled just fine. I have noticed it put out a lot in the beginning. It settles down quickly to TBS...JJ

HOW FULL ARE WE SUPPOSE TO FILL IT? I PACK MINE IN TO THE TOP....looking at wills , its half.

Sorry about the caps
IF you fill it to the top there is a CHANCE that it can jump rows,,, next row can get hot enough to ignite.

I fill mine just a little more than Wills but not to the top

A full smoker is a happy smoker

Hi, you will develop your own style so to speak. I fill mine leaving near a 1/4 inch at the top. If I am mixing pellets like cherry on top of hickory I only put the cherry on the top. I also only put a thin amount in the center of the row.

If I have a short smoke like for a Tenderloin that takes about 1.5 hours I will load a quarter row on both ends. The cook time is short so I want a lot of smoke .Maybe not right but that is my way.

That is the  thing about  smoking you can do it your way.  Jted
