Time for more PP! Got two butts rubbed up and tossed on my WSM! Using cherry for the smoke most of this will be frozen for future use.

Both butts coming along nicely they both 135*IT. Smoker only has one vent 1/4 open may have to shut it down soon if temp doesn't stabilize shortly but it should be fine. It's good to see our kitchen therm is accurate as well as our Maverick the only problem it doesn't relay into the house, maybe I need another Maverick or maybe try out an i grill;).

It looks better then the crumy pic! I have the 733 as well and love it a little pain in the butt once in a while so I would most likely get the older model for a spare.

Yeah, I don't even know what all mine does! I just use it for a straight thermometer. Don't set alarms or alerts or anything-not going to read the manual before I use it each time. But all I wanted was a Good dual therm with remote, and it's a darn good one!

Those alarms are great when it's an overnite cook! I just push the buttons til I get it right finally!

Finished pic's I wish current IT 183*f. Looks like it's gonna be awhile! This is a no foil till the rest cook I was actually sleeping but my temp alarm woke me up time to open the last vent and give the WSM a kick and go back to sleep!

You're gonna have awesome bark on them

That's always my plan! Okay I had to add some coals now it's back to bed!

:biggrin:What's that song say it's 5 o'clock somewhere? Well it's 4:56 as I type pork is resting and so am I!:drool

Looks Great! Nice Smoke!

A note on therms. I have a Mav732 that doesn't get used anymore. I bought the original IGrill shortly after it came out and loved it. The app is super easy to use and setting alarms is a breeze. I upgraded to the iGrill 2 last year and love it too. have two meat probes and two ambient probes. I very rarely have more than two hunks of meat to monitor, but at times have two mini-WSM's running. So for me keeping track of both rigs is important. For range I have no issues, it works as good as the MAV and rarely disconnects. Battery life is great. I would recommend the iGrill2.

Looks great b-one! Beautiful bark. Looks nice and moist too! Wow, long smoke, huh? Well, you certainly have some good eating ahead of you today! Great job, thanks for posting, David.

Thanks for looking and the info I appreciate it! I will most likely try an I grill Father's Day is coming up!

Looks good. Did you run with water in the water pan for the whole smoke?
Thanks no this was a dry smoke just using the water bowl as a deflector, I want to get a flower pot saucer to put on it for more of a heat sink. Usally only use water now with brisket most likely would be fine without it just haven't tried yet.
