Hey all, been lookin for quite some time to add an MES 30 to my Q arsenal due to wanting the low, low temps for bacon, sausage, etc. so a few days ago I get an e-mail stating that for a very short period of time Amazon had the MES 30 on for $149.96 ! This is the lowest price I seen other than the Tractor Supply clearance but I don't live within 200 miles of one of them. So needless to say, I pulled the trigger & just was delivered my new Q toy ! I'am lookin forward to breakin it in !

Just a side note, somethin was messed up with the cart & the transaction on Amazon.... Then the price had went up to $222.00. I e-mailed Amazon & they with no hesitation honored the $149.96 ! I had chosen the prime two day shipping, they said nothing to me about this.... But sent an e-mail stating that the order had been changed to one day express shipping (a $17.99 value) at no charge ! Just thought I'd mention this above and beyond act of customer service as IMO, some companies just don't have any customer service or are extremely poor at it.... Ok, enough said there......

Here's the new addition...... :yahoo: :sausage: :yahoo: :sausage:

Have a good weekend all !

WHB Good for you that looks like a gen#1 Wish I knew before this about the gen #1 And what I have gen #2. I have adapted and I am happy with my Ques, can't wait to see some of your fine cooking.

Woot!!

Thought about that maiden voyage? You only get to do it once.

Its just a tub fulla fun, when you are not using it, you're cooking something that was smoked on it. Its just too easy to not smoke all the time. Those cute sous chefs (the munchkins), can probably move up now to Chef trainees!

Hope ya got a good one. I wish my MES40 was a good as my MES30. Its rock solid!

Congrats, What will on the menu

After all these years..... my favorite is still just a plain old nekkid chicken. You smoke a good nekkid chicken the young chefs might let ya hang around.

Just a suggestion, but I know from experience they work better out of the box!

Get that thing out and get the mandatory seasoning process out of the way! And I'd go with Foamheart on the chicken suggestion. But any meat would do for an excuse to try out the new toy.
