MES differences

I decided to buy a 30" MES and was going with model #20070910. I just saw an ad for model #20077214 and it looks just like the first one, but it has 10" legs on it. Is that the only difference in the two smokers? Near as I can tell, they are the same size and have the same features. I was going to build a 12" stand for the first one, but the one with legs won't need a stand. Thanks.

Did you see this in a Sam's Club ad? I think this is a special SC model. It's the 20070910 with 10" legs. $149.97 with free shipping? Now, I personally boycott Walmart and Sam's Club. However, if you don't feel the same way, you should snap this up with only two days to go on the sale. I own the 20070910 and I place mine on an old child's card table when I'm using it.

Yeah, it's at Sams club. Looked like a good deal, just wasn't sure if the legs were the only difference in the 2 smokers.

According to the flyer from Sams, it's available online starting Thursday Nov. 27 or in store starting Friday Nov. 28.

Don't have a Watt Burner , but now they do nicely...

I concur with what everyone has said for what it's worth. I totally agree with daRicksta about Wall-mart but probably for different reasons. It is a real pain getting in there. Then the customers are generally ---- well they are not on there best behavors. Sams club is another story. Just the fact you have to be a member reduces the number of idiots by half. That I can deal with. The smoker looks good and comes with legs. I would not rely on them you will probably want something around 24-30 inches tall.

You're a lucky guy. That looks like that was a closeout price. Either Masterbuilt has discontinued that model or they were overstocked. Costco also is an outlet for products being dumped by their manufacturer. That's why you see some things once and never again.
