I started this project back in September but had to put it on hold. Funny thing is it only took me 20 minutes from layout to finish!

I found this ceramic pizza thing at Target goes with the Stok BBQ system, was 20 bucks. I've looked at the adapters for the other webers and thought why not cut up original pot #1.

I saved the cut out as I plan to use some thin aluminum and make it a door that hinges. Well that's the plan today. I may just make this a dedicated pizza pot!

Smoke away!!!

I want to see how it works out.

We love pizza made on the drum.

Its the only way my wife will eat pizza now.

Cool!  Now you need a mini pizza spatula.     I'm making pizzas on the mini and Jimmy by just putting them on the top rack and they come out great..

Case keep it as a dedicated pizza pot....pizzas, grinders, calzones etc...

Since your making things... make one to fit... interested in the outcome as well.. looking good...

I just might I have two Greenland style kayak paddles (cedar) I'm wrapping up right now so when I get those done I may just make me one! Or I know that Cash and Carry has a wood one I may just go buy that! Too many projects!

I am curious to see how the temps are at the ZA level, and the upper rack. As I said I think it's perfect for doing wings and ZA. No worries god safety gurus the wings would go on first cooked till almost done and only dripping a bit of goodness!

Already thinking if needed a terra-cotta pan at the upper level with a rack on top. Just gonna have to see how the temps play out! Kinda like a kid in the candy store right now!

That looks awesome!

I am still on the fence on making the mini or the jumbo for us. But I will have one before the fall hits. Now I have to add this to the mix in the design.

Catch the sale And buy two pots!!! Them you can have a mini, and a mini-ZA !

I'm still thinking that I will make the cut out a hinged door. Originally I thought that I would add flat bar stock around the perimeter. I've pretty much decided that won't work to well since I radius cut the top two corners. The other issue I saw with this was the potential that I'd flatten out the cut out while fastening the stock. If I had a roller I could radius the flat stock and that wouldn't be a problem, but I don't.  I can get rolled flashing that is larger in width and attach that to the cut out to create the lip needed so seal it up. I plan on a hinge on one side and and a latch on the other.

Lookin good so far DS. Ya same thoughts as yours on cleaning the racks. (yummy seasonings)

Thanks DS! I will admit that racks a bit crustier than they normally are! Had some saucy chicken on there a while back!
