Ribeye & Taters Reborn (Leftovers)

Here is what I did last night with our leftover Ribeye & one leftover Baked Potato.

Mrs Bear was at the Casino, so I had to fend for myself!!

It was real good, and real easy to do.

The Captions tell you what I did.

Thanks for looking,
Bear

Slice up a cooled leftover Baked Potato:

Throw the Tater slices in a Pan with a bunch of Butter:

I like my Tater slices nice & Brown & Crispy on the outside:

Now you have some leftover Ribeye & however many slices of Fried Baked Potato for a meal:

Cut the Ribeye into bite-size pieces, and heat them up in the oven. I use my Toaster Oven, and flip the pieces over half-way through:

Now push the pieces tightly together, and spread shredded Mozzarella on top:

Put the whole thing back in the oven until the cheese is melted.

Very nice. Never done that...on the few occasions I have been able to set some aside, usually slice it nice and thin and stuff it in an omelet with some leftover sauté mushrooms, and pepperjack. Then dice the taters and fry them up with the leftover fried onions...i think your way is a lot easier.

Thanks Adam!!

LOL---Age & Health----Gotta take it easy.

When we were young, I'd eat my whole steak, and part of Mrs Bear's at one meal.

Then somewhat older, I'd eat my whole steak, and eat her leftover steak the next day.

Now I eat most of mine, and I eat both of our leftovers the next day.

LOL----It keeps getting cheaper to eat------Might offset "some of" the rising cost of the meats.

Thanks Dude!!

I always do things the easy way.

I usually cut thin strips out of the leftover, and make a Cheesesteak or two out of it, but I figured I try something different this time.

Your Omelet sounds Great !!

You have to love leftovers.

I know what you mean about eating less. I used to buy a 14 oz steak for me. Now we buy one and it feeds us both with leftovers!
