High my name is Jeff...I go by neumsky on here. Been into smoking meats probably 15 years now. :grilling_smilie: It is definitely an art in which we never take off the learning cap. I'm here because I'm purchasing another direct flow horizontal offset by horizon. I've got about 2 weeks before I make up my mind. It seems as tho...it is a big controversial matter as to DF vs RF. Thanx Gary...I appreciate y'all already! The reason I'm fond of Horizon cause there produced only 50 miles from me. If you get my drift. The one and only RF that's been standing out on the circuit seems to be Lang. I'm wondering...from people who might have experience...let's say a year or more that maybe have thoughts as to what the Lang might change to make it better to warrant the 600 dollar shipping cost! Gary...I talked to both of them...and neither have experience with both...but are happy with the Lang. I'm going to go visit the Lang factory this weekend weather permitting. More than likely tho...there both quality machines...will probably like the idea of it being cheaper and closer support to go with the horizon.:sausage:
