Hua Hin - Thailand
Hello guys and dolls , I use the thai way to say hello to you all , simply because I live here !

I'm a retired truckdriver from Belgium and moved out there to live here in the Land Of Smiles.

Presently building a place of our own in Hua Hin.

3 hobbies : 4WD driving ; guns and cooking.

The first 2 stopped because of to old (me) and to expensive (here) so I'm in to cooking for 100 %.

Now for the time being I'm using a Weber 22 inch for all my bbq and smoking experiments , but once our little shed is finished I'm planning to get a full sized custom build smoker.

Custom build by a local workshop will get me all the stuff I'm longing for (about cooking anyway) and surely will be a lot less expensive then an "import".

Imported products - ALL OF THEM - are very expensive here , f.e. the Weber here in BKK = close to 500 USD !

I guess this will cover a bit of who - and where - I am.

So the coming days I'll be cruising around on your forum to get a lot of your experiences , thanks allready !

Sorry for my English though , my native language is flemish (dutch).

See you !!!

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

We love to see pictures of what you are cooking (or what we call q-views here at SMF).  To "upload the q-views" just follow the directions here and it will be easier. If you are using a cell phone, an IPad or a kindle, go to the main SMF page and click the Mobile button. Will make the uploads a bit faster too.

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
