Hi. Just joined SMF. I bought a Smoke Hollow 44" propane smoker and I've been reading about this AMNPS and I was wondering if it smokes as well or better than normal smoking where the smoke keeps boiling out of every crevice? Does it give the meat that deep down smoke ring and flavour or like the so-called "smoked" meats available local markets? I'm used to that dark chocolate or almost black color and so flavorful you can't quit nibblin' no matter how full you feel. The reviews I've read are really pro on this thing. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, AlanD

The difference is that the AMNPS puts out a steady stream of good quality smoke. Once it fills up your smoker, it will spill out the gaps in the door and exhaust.
Smoke that is "Boiling" out of a smoker is most likely filled with creosote and other nasty chemicals. This can leave a nasty bitter taste on your food. You're looking for nice bluish/grey smoke called TBS.
