Reverse Flow build # 2 by daniekr1
Random photos of my second smoker build. Temp maintains evenly as expected and goes from start to smoke in 30 minutes @ 225 degrees. the racks are made of 11 gauge tubing with 3/8 stainless rods( will last forever ). Everything is 1/4 inch steel except the firebox, it is 3/8 thickness. Reverse flow plates are 1/4 inch thick and pitched to the middle and has a 2 inch drop from the firebox to the grease drain ( very easy to clean, almost self cleaning ). Stainless sink added to the workbench. Ventilation from firebox to exhaust damper is perfectly calculated and easily regulated. wish I would have added an up-flow warming box on top of the firebox, but very happy with the finished product.
